Directory Launches Oct. 27.2004
Well, I
guess our first press release could be about our launch this
fall. Based out of British Columbia, Longboard Directory
is dedicated to being a useful and relevant resource for longboarders
and surfers worldwide. Our goal is to focus on both the
local and international longboarding scenes, big or small, and
to provide links, information, product reviews and press releases
on current events.
Basically,
we love longboarding, and we want everyone who comes across
this site to have more knowledge about longboarding, more connections
to other longboarders, and a deeper appreciation for the sport.
We want
to be the "phone-book" of longboarding - the definitive
resource for longboarders across the globe - but we can't
do it alone, we need your help!
Submit
your gear reviews, scene reports, articles, pictures, movies,
art, disciplines, literature, or anything else that pertains
to longboarding; if you submit it, we will publish it! This
is the ONLY way we can possibly
hope to provide world-wide coverage of the longboard movement.
That
said, however, this site is intended for visitors of all ages,
so vulgar language or inappropriate content will be edited out.
We
are currently looking to add to our official reviewing and editing
staff, on a volunteer basis. Anyone interested may apply
online.
